About this role

This position directly supervises Technical/Business Support and/or Production/Maintenance employees in Repair and Maintenance Engineering. This role directly supervises engineering operations, preventative and corrective maintenance, and progress of work orders. Supports in the diagnoses of problems and maintains production equipment, may identify time lost due to malfunctions and develop recommendations for improvement. This role is for 2nd Shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly supervise engineering operations related to production maintenance, machinery and equipment maintenance, and installation of new machinery and equipment for production set-up.
• Directly supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of the organization's buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Supports in the diagnosis of problems, replace or repair parts, make adjustments, and maintain production equipment, machinery, or instruments to ensure functional reliability.
• May research time lost due to equipment malfunctions and develop recommendations for improvement regarding procedures, systems, equipment, and/or technology.
• Directly supervise the progress of work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Plan and shutdown maintenance activities.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate Degree
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

• BA/BS degree in technology or engineering with 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing environment
• Open to working 2nd shift
