Delivery Assurance Leader

About the role:
The Data Center Delivery Assurance Leader is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery process of data center projects, ensuring that all project deliverables are completed according to specifications, within budget, and on schedule. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, implementing quality assurance processes, and managing stakeholder expectations to guarantee successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data center projects, including new builds, expansions, and upgrades.
- Create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet delivery milestones.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial constraints are adhered to and reporting any variances.
- Develop and enforce quality assurance processes and standards specific to data center projects.
- Regularly review and audit project deliverables to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and proactively identify potential risks to project delivery, including technical, operational, and financial risks.
- Create and implement risk mitigation strategies to address and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Continuously assess and improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Promote a collaborative work environment and facilitate effective communication among team members.
- Ensure that project outcomes meet or exceed client expectations, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Oversee the transition of completed projects to operational status and ensure client support and satisfaction post-delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8 + years of experience working in or directing project teams or several mid to large-sized projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- SAP or other ERP experience
- Working knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration design, heat transfer, fan systems, and control systems
- Supply chain management and operations experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC components, products, systems, and controls is preferred
- Project level experience is preferred proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
