Job Summary
This role will be responsible for operational planning, implementing, and monitoring overall supply chain strategy and customer order processing in order to maximize efficiency and internal & external customer’s satisfaction with adherence company policies and statutory rules and regulations
Key Skills / Technical Competencies required:
Proficiency with MS Office ( Excel, Word, Power Point)
for analytics and presentation.
Hands on Experience on ARIBA Shall be an added advantage
Hands on experience in SAP on MM module
Strong Analytical ability to be able to break down of data sets into meaningful interpretations.
Good communications skills to understand the requirements quickly and able to represent data as per business need
Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required
Interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, customers, and service providers.
Specific requirements:
Inventory Management
Stakeholder management
Global Factory Co-ordination , Documentation of Import & Export.
Interpersonal skills - Able to work in a global environment and with stakeholders located in different regions of the world.
Co-ordination with international freight forwarders & CHA
Fair knowledge in material classification and HSN
Knowledge of Basic Commercial and GST and other relevant laws to the area of activities
Customer orders processing in SAP
Managing domestic inward & out bound Logistics.
MIS for Commercial, Logistics and Procurement
Process Improvements
Create detailed SOP for all the reports: Record all reporting Logics and assumptions
Collaborate with Sales, Service , Finance and Taxation team.
Attending Customs Queries and Interacting with in house legal Dept..
Tracking & Control inventory:
Warehouse space management
Inventory Planning & Unit costing
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders and consolidate data for proper planning and forecast.
Monitoring and ensuring timely delivery of Consignment to Customers.
Positioning right inventory at right places/keeping inventory at various Metro WH
Identifies optimal shipment and transportation with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
Negotiates Prices for Domestic items related to re-packing.
Keep close watch of the material cost and explore ways to bring cost reduction / cost under control.
Compliance & Audit
Screening of Customers before starting transaction ( MK denial), Trade compliance.
Attending audit Queries with support of required documents related Supply Chain and Order processing.
Strict adherence of Company policies and statutory laws and regulations.
Qualifications : Educational Qualification: MBA (preferably in Supply Chain/Operation)
Experience : 7-9 years of experience in Import activities with exposure to SAP-MM
