About the role
As a CX Practitioner (Operational Excellence Leader), you will define, deploy, and sustain the foundations of Operational Excellence within the manufacturing operation. This role is critical in driving productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing principles, standardized work, and data‑driven decision making.
You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to optimize layouts, assembly methods, labor efficiency, and visual management systems—directly impacting cost, quality, delivery, safety, and employee engagement
Key Responsibilities
As a CX Practitioner (Operational Excellence Leader), you will:
Lead the deployment of Operational Excellence / Carrier Excellence (Cx) methodologies across manufacturing operations (Lean, Kaizen, TPS).
Manage the continuous improvement and productivity project portfolio, ensuring achievement of targets, ROI, and timelines.
Lead, coach, and develop the Industrial Engineering team.
Drive standardized work implementation, including line balancing, takt time, time studies, and labor optimization.
Design, update, and sustain plant layouts that are flexible, scalable, and compliant with EHS and ergonomic standards.
Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing efficiency, including OEE, labor efficiency, and run hours.
Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) for assigned production lines, identifying bottlenecks and eliminating waste (MUDA).
Ensure development and deployment of work instructions, visual aids, and training materials to sustain improvements.
Own and track key operational metrics, including Labor Efficiency, productivity, and capacity utilization.
Facilitate and lead Kaizen and Lean events, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team engagement.
Requirements
We are looking for results‑driven, analytical leaders with a passion for continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering and/or Manufacturing environments.
Proven experience leading productivity, operational excellence, or continuous improvement projects.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, including:
Standard Work
Line balancing, takt time, time studies
Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Ishikawa
VSM Manufacturing
Experience in project management with measurable operational outcomes.
Conversational to advanced English.
Preferred Qualifications
Although not required, it would be a plus if you have:
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
Experience leading or developing Industrial Engineering teams.
Experience with:
Cell design and layout development
Capacity analysis of machinery and equipment
Headcount modeling based on volume and mix
SMED, Kanban, Pull Systems, Lean Logistics
A3, 8D, DMAIC, Poka‑Yoke, statistical analysis
