NORESCO develops bespoke energy infrastructure and efficiency solutions to meet each customer’s individual financial, technical, operational, and sustainability objectives through a variety of project delivery methods and contract structures including Public-Private Partnerships (P3), Energy/Efficiency as a Service (EaaS) and Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC). We have an immediate need for a National Senior Account Executive
NORESCO has a new opportunity for a National Senior Account Executive to market and promote campus energy solutions in the higher education and healthcare markets.
Responsibilities:
With full support from NORESCO’s P3 development and engineering teams, you will:
- Develop a sales plan that cultivates and targets direct business relationships with the financial leadership (CFO, Vice Chancellor, SVP Finance & Administration) of universities and healthcare facilities nation-wide.
- Analyze publicly available data to develop an opportunity targeting strategy for the university and healthcare P3 markets.
- Call on university and healthcare customers directly and engage in prospecting, qualification, customer meetings, proposals, contract negotiations, etc.
- Identify and qualify potential P3 opportunities in the higher education and healthcare vertical markets and successfully position NORESCO with the customer’s buying influences in advance of a P3 procurement.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with the network of P3 financial, legal, and technical advisors to universities and healthcare facilities in the U.S.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with P3 channel partners including equity investors/developers, engineering firms, large general contractors, and district energy operators.
- Work with NORESCO’s proposal team to draft responses to RFQ’s and RFP’s.
- Work with channel partners to develop strategies for a successful Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) including win themes and differentiators.
- Build and communicate marketplace feedback, including competitive information, customer expectations, and industry trends.
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
Experience/Qualifications
- Strong financial background and ability to call on and engage with university and healthcare CFO’s to collaborate on comprehensive long-term financial solutions
- Ability to understand and articulate complex contractual and finance structures.
- Experience developing and managing channel partner relationships
- 10+ years of successful sales experience calling on C-suite decision-makers
- 10+ years of experience selling complex solutions to the higher education vertical.
- Energy infrastructure and efficiency experience is preferred.
- Innovative deal-maker that is familiar with complex financial, contractual, and technical solutions.
- Highly motivated and customer focused
- Travel requirement up to 50%
