CIAT (a Carrier company), experts in sustainable solutions, is currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer based in and around London to strengthen our Sales team.

About the role

The main goal of this role is to Develop sales for the CIAT range of HVAC equipment including AHU’s, Fan Coil Units, Packaged Rooftops, Chillers and Heat Pumps through the identification and development of New Business Opportunities. This position will also play a key role in growing the sales of finished goods as well as related services.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are good Communicator (verbal, written and presentation), self-motivated, Target & objective focused; time management and organizational skills, negotiating skills, strategic planning, flexibility and adaptability, enthusiastic and positive outlook, working within an expanded team supporting other departments for overall benefit of the business, commitment to customer service excellence, team player. As a minimum you must have:

  • Proven sales record in the HVAC market.

  • Experience of managing your own time and customers, setting targets and monitoring progress.

  • Knowledge of the inner working of service & refurbishment work preferred but not essential.

  • Knowledge of HVAC industry, in particular hydronic chilled water and heating applications

  • Presentation skills and ability to conduct meetings

  • Experience of working within a fast moving and dynamic environment

  • Competitor knowledge

  • HNC/HND or City & Guilds Engineering or related subject or minimum of 5 years successful sales experience in a similar field.

  • UK Driving License

  • IT Literate with MS Office skills and CRM experience

Responsibilities

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Achieve set targets and achieve growth targets in line with the TCUK 2025 vision, ensuring effective key account management and achieve all targets set.

  • Take responsibility for your own sales targets and identify new potential customers.

  • Develop and grow the specification channel as well as the service and refurbishment market.

  • Target vertical markets with the support of the sales team to grow overall sales and Share of segment.

  • Liaise with the factories and Pre-Sales team when required to obtain price support to effectively price and win large projects.

  • Prepare and monitor a key projects/pipeline report to increase sales awareness and knowledge.

  • Offer industry knowledge and guidance on legislation to ensure future protection.
