About the role

This role will develop and optimize power electronic circuits and inverter-based HVAC drive systems (BLDC/PMSM) and lead testing, EMI/EMC validation, reliability testing, and ensure compliance with IEC/UL/CE standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and optimize power electronic circuits and inverter-based HVAC drive systems (BLDC/PMSM).
• Lead testing, EMI/EMC validation, reliability testing, and ensure compliance with IEC/UL/CE standards.
• Drive DFM/DFT, support SMT production, resolve field/production issues, and improve yield.
• Execute BOM optimization, localization, alternate sourcing, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to production and collaborate with cross-functional global teams.

EDUCATION PREFERRED:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering (Power).

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

•  (Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in HVAC Control Systems. )

Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set:

• Strong expertise in power electronics (SMPS, inverters, motor drives) and HVAC control systems.
• Proven experience in field failure analysis, root cause investigation, and CAPA implementation.
• Hands-on knowledge of EMI/EMC, safety compliance, and product validation processes.
• Experience in ECR/ECN management, component qualification, and obsolescence handling.
• Strong ownership mindset with cross-functional coordination and problem-solving capability.

Desirable Competencies/ Secondary Skill Set:

• Exposure to global project coordination and supplier development.
• Experience in value engineering, cost reduction, and component standardization initiatives.
• Working knowledge of embedded systems, firmware coordination, and controller integration.
• Familiarity with reliability tools such as FMEA, 8D, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
