About This Role

The Supervisor, Design Engineering for the ALC West region will manage and provide consistent engineering drawings and software. You’ll provide training and support to engineers and ensure their utilization. You’ll also work directly with Project Managers within the greater team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and program building automation systems, site-specific configuration of control system, and control algorithms.
• Adhere to project requirements and company and customer standards of design, programming, and implementation.
• Create a clear design document for project teams with technical information. Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions.
• Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems. Test programming and interfaces prior to implantation.
• Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customers’ needs are met.
• Identify and communicate project opportunities and risks.
• Support of functional testing for building systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC controls and/or Building Automation.

• 3+ years programming and engineering experience with Automated Logic Controls (ALC).

• Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in an Engineering or Construction discipline.
• Experience with third-party communication protocols used in building automation, such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, EDS, BlueBeam, etc.
• Experience with Enterprise IP networks and Microsoft Visio, or similar software.
• Ability to understand written sequences of operations, diagrammatic depictions of systems.
• Able to translate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay Range:

$76,516 - $107,122 Annually
