About the role
Experienced Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professional. Establishes sourcing goals and acceptable service levels. Responsible for negotiating and administering contracts and analyzing price proposals to enhance price, quality, timing and reliability of supply.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction and supply chain optimization.
Manage the sourcing process for assigned commodities, including motors, fans, blowers, propellers, bearings, and pulleys.
Utilize ERP systems (SAP, BPCS, JD Edwards) to manage procurement activities.
Conduct market analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, BPCS, JD Edwards).
Technical Expertise: Knowledge of motors, fans, blowers, propellers, bearings, and pulleys.
Language: Advanced English proficiency.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Other: Valid work visa, ability to travel up to 50%, and experience working in a fast-paced, global environment.
