About the role
As a Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly, you will strategically lead and support assembly manufacturing operations, ensuring effective project execution, standardized production methods, and continuous improvement. This role plays a key part in delivering safe, high-quality, and efficient assembly processes while supporting new product and equipment introductions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly, you’ll be responsible for:
Lead and develop the assembly manufacturing team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
Ensure standardization of assembly processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate new product and equipment introductions using PCR (Process Change Request) and MOC (Management of Change) processes.
Manage and update PFMEA, ensuring alignment with new processes and products.
Execute and support manufacturing investment projects (CAPEX / PIPs).
Ensure compliance with KPCs (Key Product Characteristics) and process certifications.
Promote root cause analysis and Lean Manufacturing practices.
Support plant KPIs including service level, productivity, downtime, scrap, and FPY.
Lead ergonomics improvements and elimination of unsafe conditions.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and manufacturing documentation requirements.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or assembly processes.
Experience managing projects for new product introductions.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and problem-solving methodologies.
Conversational English to present projects and support suppliers.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
Experience installing and commissioning assembly equipment.
HVAC manufacturing experience, including equipment such as Brazing, Coil Bending, Leak Test, Burst Test, Refrigerant Charging, Hipot, and Run Test.
Experience working with PCR, MOC, PFMEA, and KPC requirements.
