About this role

Riello Canada is looking for Shipper & Receiver who will also be driving a forklift when needed and able to work onsite 7:30 to 4 pm (based on union agreement) in Mississauga ON.

This is a unionized role (Local 938) therefore membership will be compulsory as per the union agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Gather products and items to fulfill an order for an internal or external customer(s)
• Locate products within warehouse
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
• Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
• Wrap orders before loading on trucks
• Put incoming inventory into specified areas
• Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
• Load and unload of inventory, stock, and supplies
• Keep paper records of completed orders
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
• Assist with inventory cycle counts to ensure proper inventory numbers
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklifts Driver Certificate or 2 years plus experience in driving a forklift
• 2 years plus work experience as an order picker/packer or in a warehouse
• Ability to bend, move and lifting up to 40 lbs. and perform labor intensive activities as needed
• Ability to successfully pass the background as part of the hiring process
