We are searching for a Global Sales Analytics Specialist to join our team!
The Global Sales Analytics Specialist position is for a candidate looking to experience one to three years learning the internal sales processes, analytics, and go-to-market strategies with the ultimate goal of moving into a broader sales role or business support role. This will be a meaningful role in improving and scaling our sales operations to help effectively serve our internal and external customer base. You will also assist with leading the tools and systems that are essential for our sales process, including future CRM systems. This position will support sales forecasting, analysis, reporting, operations, processes, and systems.
You will work closely with our Director of Sales and primarily work with the sales team. This role will partner with the marketing, finance, product management, and operations teams as required. Over time, the Global Sales Analytics Specialist will have the ability to work with the Marketing Manager on product promotions and be a part of the customer VIP visits to the facility with the goal of presenting to customers in preparation for a move to a unit sales or similar role.
Role Responsibilities
- Working across the organization to provide accurate and timely information and insights relevant to market trends, pipeline health, sales metrics vs. plan, and growth initiatives
- Creating and maintaining a cadenced bookings report that is refined, accurate, and compared versus sales targets
- Collaborating with global and regional sales operations leaders to support sales data integrity, forecasting, contract documentation, and Customer Relationship management
- Serve as a central global function for reporting quantitative sales insights as well as qualitative information for global use including Strategic Success Stories, Case Studies, customer insights, and internal promotion initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business analysis, Finance, or Sales Analytics
- 1+ years of experience with SalesForce tools including contract, pipeline, opportunities, and analysis tools
- 1+ years of experience with PowerBI or reporting tools
- 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related technical field
- Advanced data analysis skills using PowerBI, Tableau, or other tools
- Experience with ERP systems, data entry and extraction for analysis
- Familiarity with Industrial Fire Protection and Detection products and market
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry and automation market
