We are growing our Customer Service Hub in Livingston and are looking for motivated individuals to join our team. As part of our customer support function, you’ll play an important role in delivering excellent service to our clients.

From the very beginning, we’ll provide you with comprehensive onboarding and training, the ongoing support of your line manager, and a clear path to develop and grow your skills. This role is part of Carrier Rental Systems, a provider of immediate, 24/7 nationwide rental solutions designed to keep operations running smoothly and minimise the impact of unexpected downtime. The position sits within the Pumps & Power division.

As a Customer Service Centre Agent you will be responsible for:

  • To complete all daily administration within our Depot network to a high standard including on-hires, off hires & exchanges.
  • To be the first point of contact when customers call.
  • To liaise and work effectively with the company’s operational & sales teams.
  • Pro-actively Identify and develop “New Business” opportunities to grow our sales pipeline & conversions in conjunction with our strategic goals.
  • Work to specified timeline in an efficient manner to achieve converting all opportunities to wins for the Carrier Rental Systems business.

Who we're looking for

To be successful in the role you should have:

  • Previous customer service or sales support experience.

  • Good Communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Commitment to customer service excellence and best in class results.
  • Excellent telephone manner essential.
  • Pro active approach.
  • IT Literate with MS Office skills.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between £24,785.00-£49,420.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.   

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
