About this role

Experienced Distribution Channel Management professional, overseeing and participating in various sales and customer relationship management processes. Responsible for representing the company's interests, and building business relationships to enhance distribution channel management performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experienced outside sales professional, overseeing and participating in various Outside Sales and customer relationship management processes.
  • Responsible for representing the company's interests, and building business relationships to enhance outside sales performance.
  • Acts as a main contact with prospects, develops a professional relationship and understands the customer needs to suggest products and/or services to meet the customer’s needs.
  • Identifies bid opportunities, prepares bid responses, negotiates with potential customers and builds and maintains customer relationships to win projects.
  • Contacts new customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
  • Participates as the management team representative on prospective target accounts. Establishes personal long-term customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
  • Coordinate and work with quality, engineering, machining and assembly operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedule to proactively identify and address any issues
  • Achieve financial objectives by working with management group to prepare the materials budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
  •  Participate as a member of the operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions
  • Participate in MRB and CAR meetings to resolve quality issues working with both internal and external resources

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Willing to travel 60% + of time

Preferred Qualifications

  • May manage moderately/large sized projects or processes.
  • Typically viewed as subject-matter expert within discipline
  • Has advanced to expert knowledge of work area. (Container Industry)
  • Able to face and address problems, which are difficult and often complex.
  • Needs minimal oversight from manager.
  • Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower level professionals.
  • ​Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures

Pay Range:

$87,000 - $152,250 Annually
