The role
The Technical Account Manager drives business growth by delivering innovative technical solutions and support to our customers, strengthening relationships, and expanding market presence. This role combines technical expertise with strategic collaboration to address customer needs and objectives effectively.
This role emphasizes a deep understanding of HVAC systems and their applications, enabling you to become a key resource for both customers and internal teams. By focusing on technical solutions and strategic support, you will directly contribute to achieving business growth and customer success..
Key responsibilities
We are looking for a Technical Account Manager with the ability to provide an excellent experience to our clients in the field.
Therefore, you will have;
- Identify and scope opportunities for OEM and general HVAC projects, working closely with customers to develop tailored solutions that align with their operational goals.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to end customers, ensuring their challenges are met with practical and efficient solutions.
- Support business units across the region by providing advanced technical assistance, sharing insights on emerging market strategies, and introducing new product offerings.
- Facilitate seamless communication between technical teams and clients, ensuring alignment on project specifications and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organic growth and capitalize on new opportunities through technical innovation and excellence.
Requirements:
As a minimum you must have:
- HVAC Trade Qualification and hands on experience in the HVAC industry
- Demonstrated expertise in aftermarket parts/repair sales, with a track record of success.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with internal and external customers effectively.
- Ability to cross-sell and upsell within your base of customers, demonstrating excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities for proactive selling of preventative repair/upgrade packages.
- Proficiency in utilising Microsoft-based computer software in a technical environment.
- Self-motivated with excellent multitasking skills, able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
