About the role
Define, implement and sustain all Manufacturing processes related to: industrialization of new products, cost reduction or continuous improvement projects, insourcing or transfer of work, factory transformation, sustaining. Focus on EH&S, Quality and Productivity improvement.

Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of industrial processes and manufactured products.
- Knowledge of team management and project management.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing & Lean logistics.
- Fluent professional English and Czech required.
- Proficiency in the Office Pack and an ERP (SAP).
- Knowledge of Assembly & automated Testing processes.
- Knowledge of Brazing processes.
- Knowledge of Refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of PFMEA (use, apply, train).
- Knowledge of design for Manufacturing concepts.
- Knowledge of Mistake proof systems.
- Knowledge of ESD/EOS protection.
- Knowledge of Work Instructions definition.
Responsibilities
- Define the objectives of your department, implement the actions/indicators to achieve them
- Distribute projects/activities according to skills and workload. Monitor progress and provide support
- Recruit, evaluate, train, support and inform employees
- Use and promote CX tools and respect associated processes
- Guarantee the consistency of its actions with the company's strategy and the group's values and ensure compliance (HR, Ethics, HSE, Governance, Social, Continuous Improvement)
- Ensure the definition and integration of manufacturing requirements in all projects and follow the application
- Execute the industrialization of new products, product modifications, product costs reduction, insourcing or TOW inline with Carrier Passport process deliverables and timing
- Implement robust processes and mistake proofing solutions allowing to resolve quality problems
- Initiate and manage the execution of the productivity plan (PIP)
- Manage continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in defining the overall transformation plan for the site and execute the Process part
- Guarantee the assembly times of the products used for cost calculation and for the definition of the load in Production
- Guarantee the sustainability of the actions implemented within the framework of the new standards
- Initiate and manage innovation approaches for assembly processes
- Maintain communication and share good Lean practices with counterparts with other Group sites
- Develop, present and argue the annual plan: projects, resources, cost budgets and investments and ensure monitoring and reporting
- Hierarchically to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and in relation with all the company's departments
- In relation with customers, suppliers and partners
- Deciding on methods and actions to achieve the set objective and referring to its hierarchy to validate the projects and associated budgets and for decisions outside the scope. Validate the industrial process strategy
- Supervises the activities of entry to professional level engineers who design manufacturing processes and specifications that will improve the efficiency and productivity of the organization’s manufacturing operations.
- Takes ownership for the successful implementation of projects to ensure that business objectives are achieved.
- Plans or directs the designs and layout for assembly and materials handling.
- Consults or negotiates with lines of business to adapt machine and equipment design to factory and production standards.
- Mentors team members and coordinates activities involving operations sequencing and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment to ensure quality product performance.
- Provides technical leadership to develop statistical process control manufacturing processes and demonstrates continuous development on those techniques.
- Provides guidance for engineering design concepts and specification requirements to ensure manufacturing equipment is fully utilized.
