About the Role – Associate, Outside Sales

This role focuses on Outside Sales and Customer Relationship Management in the HVAC industry. The professional will establish, prospect, and develop relationships with customers, identify their needs, and propose tailored solutions. The position includes business development, supporting bids, technical presentations, and ensuring alignment between customer requirements and Carrier solutions.

The role will bridge the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs while contributing to achieving sales targets and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, prospect, and develop professional relationships with customers.

  • Understand customer needs and propose suitable products and services.

  • Support business growth within the defined customer segment.

  • Prospect bid opportunities and participate in bid preparation and negotiation.

  • Develop and manage new customer portfolios and leads.

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify improvement areas.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings through research and education.

  • Prepare technical documentation and sales materials (submittals, quotations, presentations).

  • Present and demonstrate technical products or services to potential clients.

  • Respond to technical questions and address client concerns.

  • Focus on achieving annual sales targets in New Service Agreements & Service Repairs while complying with company Finance, Ethics, and Sales Policies.

  • Attend trade shows or events to increase organizational visibility.

  • Maintain smooth communication between Sales, Applications, and Engineering teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent field.

  • Located in the UAE with relevant experience.

  • Minimum 3 years in the HVAC industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Valid UAE Driver’s License (approx. 50% field visits).

  • Theoretical knowledge from university degree; less than 3 years prior relevant experience acceptable for junior roles.

Preferred / Additional Requirements:

  • LEED accreditation is an advantage.

  • Understanding of HVAC applied equipment (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, CDUs, etc.).

  • Ability to participate in bid responses and negotiations.
