Position overview:

The Position

The Manufacturing Transformation Manager leads strategic initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organization. This role requires a forward-thinking professional to manage transformation projects, implement new technologies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to meet organizational goals.

Below are the role responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute transformation strategies to align with organizational goals.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing best practices and innovations.

  • Identify opportunities for operational excellence, cost reduction, and process improvement.

Project Management

  • Plan, oversee, and execute large-scale transformation projects within budget and timelines.

  • Manage resources, schedules, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and troubleshoot issues.

Process Optimization

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies.

  • Implement the Carrier excellence methodologies to improve productivity and quality.

  • Standardize processes to enhance consistency and scalability.

Technology Implementation

  • Evaluate and adopt advanced manufacturing technologies such as IoT and automation.

  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure seamless technology integration.

Change Management

  • Drive cultural and operational change by fostering engagement at all levels of the organization.

  • Communicate transformation goals and progress effectively to stakeholders.

Performance Monitoring

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure transformation success.

  • Conduct regular assessments and present findings to senior leadership.

  • Recommend ongoing improvements based on data-driven insights.

The Candidate

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is a plus.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, strategy and process improvement.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale transformation projects.

Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise with continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Strong project management skills (PMP certification is a plus).

  • Proficiency in ERP/MES systems and manufacturing technologies.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
