About This Role:
We are seeking a Sr. Expediting & Quoting Associate for our HVAC Aftermarket Parts business. You will join a small group of team members dedicated to handling all order emergencies from distributors, Carrier field offices, and contractors around the world who have customers such as hospitals, production plants, nursing homes, schools and residences by working with suppliers and internal plants for quickest solutions. We must react quickly and provide immediate responses when our customers have HVAC equipment has that has failed due to natural disasters, unplanned outages, or other unforeseen circumstances. This is a fast paced, high-volume job and we are seeking a high energy, self-motivated individual that can work with both suppliers and customers to increase sales on quoted parts and promptly addressing customer expedite requests.
Job Description:
Expediting:
Assist team with providing exceptional customer support on expedites for Replacement Component customers, including distributors, contractors, International customers and all internal Carrier customers
Provide superior follow up to customers (internal and external, sales managers, and upper management on all expedites)
Manage expedites via SalesForce and internal systems
Communicate effectively with suppliers or internal Carrier plants as well as RC warehouse via email or telephone
Collaborate closely with Materials, Purchasing and Engineering groups and other internal departments to resolve all customer needs/inquiries
Develop and maintain close business relationship with RC warehouse
Escalate time-critical issues quickly
Administration and maintenance of Key Customer Reports & Expedite Reviews as required
Administration and maintenance of Expedite Aging Report to support queue resolution for instances of invoiced & canceled Sales Orders; Inventory in Excess of Customer Commits; and cross functional case resolution for newly inactive parts.
Programmable Control Board Case Queue management and maintenance via model, serial, and part number validation.
Quoting:
Work with technical support and / or product managers to identify parts or alternatives, along with identifying source selection process improvement opportunities
Partner with customers to understand the competitive situation in order to most appropriately quote to increase probability of an order
Complete quote requests and follow-up in timely manner to support increased response velocity and quote closure volumes
Review margin rates on quotes to ensure optimum price points by market and make recommendations for gross margin ranges in standard work
Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree
2+ years of experience in a customer facing role
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Working knowledge of internal systems such as CRM (Customer Relationship Management software), specifically Salesforce.
Proven ability to handle high case volumes transactions while maintaining a positive/responsive attitude with the customer.
Strong sense of urgency, self-starter and well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize work.
Strong communication skills including the ability to interact with internal departments to find solutions (Planning, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, etc.) as well as with suppliers and customers.
Working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, EPIC and Windchill systems is desired
A background in Residential and Commercial HVAC applications, products and systems, is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with MS Office (specifically Word and Excel).
Good analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Adaptability and flexibility to seasonality and changing business demands is critical

Pay Range:
