Responsibilities:

• Working with sites to identify critical components, and help in broker/ distributor search for components
• Resolving shortages
• Creating daily, weekly and monthly reports as per business requirement / own deliverable
• Drive alignment and approvals for Purchase price variance (PPV) at appropriate levels
• Build relationships with business leads and site supply chain team
• Build depth and understanding of business
• Managing the Open Order reports and liaising with suppliers for PO acknowledgement and confirmation
• PO creation and timely PO acknowledgement from suppliers
• Updating ERP as per the confirmations received from the suppliers
• Communicating with stakeholders (buyers, planners etc) at plant /site for day to day activities or queries and their resolutions;
• Action Messages reporting & update
• Resolving Invoices
• Monitoring SOTD and Inventory metrics of Plant
• Resolving receiving /warehouse put away issues
• Working Knowledge of ERP. SAP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors with 1-4 years of experience in SCM
• Sound knowledge of Purchase
• English Communication, Verbal & written
• Technical Knowledge - Sound knowledge of Purchase , Knowledge on SAP MM would be an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• Experience of working in an international purchase organization
