Product Engineer

About the role 

As a product engineer you would:

• Create reliable data for Engineering Changes Implementation process, identifying potential process improvements, process bottle necks.
• Ensure standardized ECN communications to the operations.
• Ensure Metric visibility for ECN Process (Time and Quality).

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the reliability and accuracy of information in the SAP Material Master, as well as the timely setup of parameters through strategies and solutions that enable the successful implementation of engineering changes.

• Define strategies and solutions to ensure the timely and accurate loading of information in the SAP Material Master
• Provide support on MRP-related topics (SAP Material Master); demonstrate strong knowledge of the SAP MRP system.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to identify opportunities for improvement within SAP MM processed
• Ensure routings, work centers, and production versions for products manufactured in CMX. Ensure the variant configurator is up to date with the correct KMATs and planning materials.

Position Requirements

• Educational Background

  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical education. Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.

• Basic knowledge of Engineering Change Management (ECN)

  Initial experience or strong exposure (internships, co‑op, or 1–2 years) supporting Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). Familiarity with change management tools such as CAT, PLM systems, or Windchill is desirable. Ability to support standardized ECN communication and assist in tracking timing and quality metrics.

• Foundational SAP knowledge (MM / MRP)

  Basic to intermediate experience using SAP Material Master. Understanding of MRP fundamentals, including material parameters and their impact on planning and execution. Willingness to learn and support activities related to BOM accuracy, routings, work centers, production versions, and variant configurator (KMATs and planning materials).

• Communication and coordination skills

  Good communication skills to collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Planning, and other cross‑functional teams. Ability to follow standardized processes and identify improvement opportunities with guidance. English proficiency at an intermediate level, sufficient for documentation and collaboration with global teams.
