About the role
This position is for an established professional in Customer Service, located/based in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, who works under general supervision in responding to customer email. Resolves moderately complex inquiries, collects and analyzes customer data to determine customer trends, and makes recommendations for the update of procedures to improve Customer Service processes. Escalates complex issues to management.
Proficient in operations working with diferent plants and teams (supply chain, purchasing, shipping), ensuring order releases, participating in meetings and follow-ups, maintaining customer contact for updates, and reviewing urgent/important orders. Experienced in production reporting and planning using SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Delivery Assurance Associate, you’ll be responsible for:
- Interface and engage daily with Schedulers, Planners, Engineering (ETO/STD), Supply Chain and Logistics functions in our Charlotte, NC and Monterrey factories to facilitate order fulfillment and proactive customer communications of order status. Help ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide front-line customer support and communication to sales offices, customers and factory Customer Service Reps.
- Coordinate customer communications and serve as the Voice of Customer for Carrier’s Charlotte, NC and Monterrey factories.
- Interact daily with key Carrier customers, distributors and direct sales offices, as well as Carrier factories, logistics and product teams to continually improve upon the customer experience
- Track, set targets and improve upon response times and response quality.
- Act as main point of contact for order status escalations and key projects thru the management teams.
Requirements
We are looking for people who have experience in Customer Service or Delivery areas. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:
2+ years of experience working as Customer Service in logistics or import & export areas.
- Bachelor´s Degree in LNI, LRI, Import & Export, Logistics, Engineering or related.
- Experience within the HVAC or construction industry.
- Experience in factory setting Customer Service.
- Experience with order systems, scheduling, planning, shipments and warehousing.
- Experience with Salesforce, CRM tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Advanced English (mandatory).
- Passport and Visa.
It would be nice if you have:
- ERP experience SAP – planning module.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
