Program Manager – Lynx API and Mobile

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of activities in support of solutions and initiatives related to the LYNX platform. You will ensure the alignment of the portfolio with overall Refrigeration business goals. While focusing on multiple, related and dependent activities, you will encourage strong, cross-functional communication across the entire program. In this role, you will be focused on driving the delivery of product portfolio consisting of Lynx API and Mobile app for Lynx.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a project management framework in line with strategic objectives to drive project execution and delivery.
• Direct and control the delivery of programs and projects across the LYNX platform.
• Establish and promote the use of metrics to improve overall program effectiveness.
• Use structured processes to monitor the progress of programs and projects across LYNX platform.
• Develop and implement effective program management practices to drive efficiency and deliver projects on schedule.
• Own the LYNX project portfolio partnering closely with Product Management and Product Development teams to identify appropriate prioritization in delivering on our global roadmaps.
• Provide governance across LYNX, including milestones, resources, and budgeting.
• Work with cross-functional organizations and ensure alignment across work streams.
• Drive the PI Planning activities working closely with Product, Design and Development teams.
• Actively involve in the Agile methodology framework for product development and participate in PI Planning, Sprint planning, and Scrum ceremonies.
• Identify and mitigate risks and remove roadblocks within workstreams.
• Drive follow-up efforts among stakeholders to ensure progress against key milestones and deliverables.
• Anticipate bottlenecks and balance business needs with technical constraints to move the projects forward quickly.
• Provide status updates to senior leadership and other business/technical partners on program decisions, progress, and risks.
• Provide guidance and mentor the PMO team members.
• Maintain project dashboards across the LYNX product lines.
• Facilitate Monthly NPI reviews, Project Approval Process, and Phase gate reviews with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple projects/programs and reconcile interdependencies with cross-functional teams.
• Deliver high-quality projects on time, on specification, and on cost.
• Manages LYNX budget providing monthly burn rate to Carrier leadership.
• Supports the technical vision, guiding principles, and roadmap of the LYNX development effort.
• Manages internal Carrier Lynx communications on project updates and externally with customers as needed.
• Escalates risks, challenges, and issues to Lynx leadership team.

Required Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience
• 5 years proven Project Management experience managing software and/or hardware engineering projects, and Team management experience.
• 5 years experience working with leadership and distributed teams (co-located, remote, and nearshore/offshore)
• Experience with Lean, Agile, iterative development, SAFe.
• Experience managing API Integrations and building Mobile Apps.
• Demonstrated experience in estimation and WBS development.
• Defined a detailed project plan with dependencies for highly complex projects and programs requiring collaboration with multiple teams.
• Attention to detail and drive program and project dependencies to help remove the roadblocks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Travel up to 15% on an as needed basis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of IoT, including sensors, connectivity, cloud, analytics, and user interfaces.
• Experience building solutions in cloud environments.
• Experience in Telematics and/or Transportation domain.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where not all processes and procedures are clearly defined. Ability to change directions quickly as needed.
• Experience in establishing and analyzing metrics and key performance indicators to manage the business
• Ability to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and develop and drive appropriate solutions.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale enterprise projects
• Experience managing the lifecycle of a complex cross-functional program with considerable impact
