About the role

This Digital Factory Site Leader will be leading and driving the digital transformation initiatives for India existing and new factory. This involves basic infrastructure construction and various digital solutions deployment, maintenance. Digital solutions typically includes SAP, MES, Supplier portal, and various new technology introduction like IoT , AI, robotics, etc. This person has to clearly define digital roadmap and be responsible for the realization of digital initiatives by leveraging global/regional, Operation team and 3rd party resources. 

Key Responsibilities:

²  Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of digital factory projects.

²  1st phase will primarily be responsible for new factory construction from infra to various application implementation.

²  Drive regular sessions with business factory leadership to set priorities and align business objectives and Digital strategic plans.

²  Collaborating with various departments such as digital, operations, engineering, and supply chain to ensure the digital solutions are aligned with the overall business strategy and operational needs.

²  Leading change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.

²  Continuously seeking ways to improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiency through digital solutions.

²  Responsible for managing the DT local budget OPEX / CAPEX planning as per the plant requirements while ensuring the appropriate tracking and execution to meet the annual goals. Also responsible for local IT vendor management / service fulfillment monitoring.

²  Act as the main POC for IT Severity 1 incidents, providing local coordination and execution to ensure business continuity.

Required Qualifications:

²  Bachelor’s Degree

²  7+ years of digital experience in manufacturing and supply chain

²  5+ years of experience in Infra construction, ERP, or/and MES systems

²  2+ years of experience in the latest digital technologies; artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, IoT, and/or cloud computing

Preferred Qualifications:

²  Strong project management skills: certified preferred.

²  A deep understanding of the manufacturing industry in which the digital projects are being implemented, including its challenges, regulations, and trends.

²  Good understanding of Agile/Scrum, Lean, and other agile techniques.

²  Demonstrate transformational leadership skills (encourage, inspire, and motivate)

²  Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, And preferably a Master’s degree

²  Knowledge in Digital Compliance and Cyber Security

²  Digital transformation experience

²  Strong analytical skills: ability to perform complex system analysis and draw conclusions by relating information from different sources, including root-cause analysis and issue resolution.

²  Highly self-motivated, driven work ethic, keen attention to detail and exceptional customer service orientation.

²  Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.

²  Ability to communicate highly technical information in an understandable manner to non-technical audiences through writing and presentations.

²  Committed to continuously learning and developing new skills, technologies, and passionate about conveying knowledge.

²  Demonstrated ability to think strategically about solutions to business, products, and technical challenges.

²  Results oriented, always stretching to drive personal and team outcomes.

²  Strong desire to continue to grow skillset and work across the full technology stack.

²  Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and teams simultaneously.

²  Effective interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills

²  Proven experience leading digital transformation projects in a complex operational environment.

²  Open and able to work in cultural diversity environment.
