About the role 

As the Chiller Sustaining & Value Engineer for Carrier., you’ll execute elements of product development activities and testing. Responsible for enhancing commonality and optimization of product and components.

Required Skills:

• Sound knowledge of Chiller products & Product development process .undefined
• Collaboration with local & Global chiller design teams for driving product optimization/Design Changes per customer/regulatory needs.

• Chiller Testing knowhow, requirements analysis & preparing technical proposal for sales team/customers.

• Drive Troubleshooting of Chillers for successful test completion per design/customized requirements.

• Cost Down, Product Improvement and Selection Software knowhow for performance selections of Chiller

• Knowledge of BEE Energy star labeling requirements, AHRI 550/590, AHRI 575, IS 16590, ASME

• Strong Interpersonal & project management skills

Requirements

• Chiller Expertise
• Minimum of 4-10 Yrs experience in Product and Value Engineering
• Minimum qualification is B.E/B.Tech graduate
• Thermal & Performance Engineering – Testing, AHRI / BEE / ASME
• Design-to-Value – Cost reduction & optimization
• Problem Solving – Troubleshooting & RCA
• Application Engineering – ETO/MTO customization
• Execution – Projects, risk & delivery excellence
• Collaboration – Cross-functional leadership
• Leadership – Team building & influencing
