We’re seeking an experienced to lead a sales team focused on growing our CHVAC lifecycle solutions offerings, which’ll contribute to the growth and success of Carrier Service and enable Carrier to continue to differentiate themselves as a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.
Primary responsibilities in this role include:
- Achieve financial goals for the Area through a mixture of attaining Line of Business orders, revenue, and profitability targets across Service Repairs, Service Agreements, and Mods & Controls Projects
- Review sales coverage to ensure resources are utilized effectively through alignment to territories, customers, and focused-selling roles
- Execute a rigorous Management Operating System (MOS) including territory planning account planning, pipeline reviews & orders forecasting, activity management, and customer ride-alongs
- Retain & Grow our recurring revenue base via installed-based retention, capture, and conversion campaigns
- Transform the business mix via new product introductions focused on Healthy Buildings, Digitally-Enabled offerings, Sustainability offerings, and key vertical-focuses
- Demonstrate an aptitude for productive sales coaching sessions with each member of the sales team, while providing timely feedback on sales performance
- Build an engaged and sustainable workforce by supporting or creating development plans for direct team focused on 3E’s (Experience, Exposure, and Education)
- Adopt and leverage tools/platforms such as SFDC and PowerBI to monitor key sales metrics and initiatives, focused on enhancing sales efficiency and effectiveness
- Hybrid work environment, ideally in one of these preferred work locations: Seattle or Spokane WA
- Travel is required up to 50% within assigned Area
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ of sales experience in the Commercial HVAC or in the Building Technologies industries
- 2+ years’ experience in direct report management in the HVAC or in the Building Technologies industries, in professional positions with increasing responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in Service and Aftermarket industries in sales
- Understanding of market dynamics including industry trends
- Proven track record of coaching sales teams to deliver results
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize data from various sources in both graphic and verbal format, while easily translating them to the target audience
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Working experience and advanced skills with CRM, preferably SalesForce
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities
- Superior follow-up and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage business performance metrics and achieve or surpass plan goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and develop talent within teams
- Ability to implement strategies to grow Orders and the profitability of the business in accordance with organizational goals
- Business Growth and Planning: Profitably grow the local business by capturing market share, and by leveraging current success to enter new verticals
- Passion for servicing customers
- Ability to communicate and create buy-in across multiple levels within the organization
- Ability to learn quickly and to apply and extrapolate this to other functional areas
- Act promptly to solve problems, go above and beyond to exceed expectations
- Adaptability in changing business priorities
- Team-oriented perspective, able to work well with others and accommodate others' point of view
- Working knowledge and experience using Salesforce as a CRM system
- Strong desire to learn and grow professionally

- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities. Develops customer presentations for specific customer needs alongside of team

Pay Range:
