Sr. Electrical & Control Engineer

Scope of work:

• Effectively assist on developing the product for Carrier Commercial Refrigerant to the achievement of business and marketing targets;
• Work with project manager/leader on development schedule and cost to meet project targets;
• Other tasks assigned by manager/leader;

Accountabilities:

• Develop and qualify electrical hardware & control software for commercial refrigeration products, mainly for CO2 racks, etc.
• Co-ordinate with electrical/control suppliers and make sure full qualification of electrical parts, control parts, etc.
• Optimize the cost / performance / reliability of existing products’ electrical and control.
• Ensure all products electrical/control design meet related national and company standards, especially for safety and quality.
• Support customer job-site R&D products commissioning, field trial and trouble-shooting/solution when needed.
• Be willing to capability continuation in thermodynamic/refrigeration system.

Qualification & Requirement:

• Education: 5+ years with Bachelor degree or 3+ years with Master degree;

• Technical certification: Electrical, electronic and automation related majors;

• Work experience: With a successful related working experience of electrical/electronic and control software programming (especially PLC). With refrigerant system technology is a good plus.

• Computer skills:

  Familiar with control software programming, especially typical PLC languages.

  The proficiency in office software

• Language ability: Fluency speaking and writing in English;

• Personality: teamwork, honesty, initiative

• Other competencies: Good communication, Good analytic and learning ability;
