About the Role

As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead the site's transformation and operational excellence strategy through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Carrier Excellence methodologies. In this role, you will drive productivity improvements, optimize manufacturing processes, lead Kaizen events, and ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives aligned with business and financial objectives. Your work will have a direct impact on operational performance, cost reduction, and the development of a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the plant.

  • Driving productivity projects and ensuring alignment with plant financial goals and business plans.

  • Facilitating and leading Kaizen events to improve operational performance.

  • Managing plant transformation initiatives, including process optimization, layout redesign, and process documentation.

  • Conducting risk assessments and supporting Carrier Excellence initiatives.

  • Coordinating cross-functional SWAT teams to solve operational challenges and drive sustainable improvements.

  • Monitoring and analyzing operational performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are results-driven, strategic, collaborative, and passionate about operational excellence.

As a minimum, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience leading Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement initiatives.

  • Advanced English communication skills.

  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, industrial engineering, or maintenance environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement tools.

Although not required, it would be great if you have:

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred (Green Belt minimum).

  • Experience leading plant transformation projects.

  • Knowledge of Operational Excellence or Manufacturing Excellence programs.

  • Valid U.S. visa and willingness to travel occasionally.

  • Experience facilitating Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement workshops.
