We are seeking an Associate Director, Integrated Marketing, Global Data Centers Vertical to bring Carrier’s brand vision and positioning to life across all customer touchpoints within our Global Data Center Strategic Vertical. In this role, you will spearhead the global development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy and plans to elevate Carrier’s position in the Global Data Center industry. You will lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, programs and tools that drive brand awareness, foster customer loyalty, increase customer engagement across digital, social, and traditional platforms, and drive demand generation for our solutions and services, ultimately contributing to the growth of this vertical.
You will ensure our marketing strategies align with broader business goals and customer needs, utilizing data-driven insights to develop compelling content and tools that resonate with our target audience, enabling our sales teams and enhancing the customer journey. You will collaborate across teams and regions, both Corporate and Business Units, to ensure a unified approach to positioning us as a leader in the data center industry. Your strategic vision and creative energy will be critical in accelerating growth within the Data Center Vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive marketing strategy collaborating with product marketing and communications SMEs to define and execute marketing plans, global campaigns, initiatives, promotions, selling tools, and communications that drive demand generation and sales across digital, social, and traditional channels.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams such as product development, sales, and customer experience to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Support the development and implementation of a portfolio strategy with comprehensive go-to-market plans to launch new products or services, and ensure they achieve maximum market penetration.
Ensure brand alignment with new product launches, campaign messaging, creative content, and innovation storytelling that resonates with target audiences while aligning brand messaging across all touchpoints (paid, owned, earned) to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
Conduct comprehensive market research and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer pain points to gain understanding and valuable insights into customer needs. Tailor marketing strategies and campaigns accordingly, while continuously optimizing efforts. Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments.
Develop vertical-specific tools to support sales enablement. Collaborate with the sales team to define account-based marketing (ABM) strategies for key sub-verticals within data centers.
Collaborate with regional teams to identify, categorize, target, and impact customer segments.
Work collaboratively with the Communications, Strategic and Digital Marketing Brand Design and Creative in-house team to create compelling content strategies, including A+ rich product content and storytelling that incentivize customers to connect more deeply with Carrier.
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure high-quality execution of campaigns.
Partner with the business and analytics teams to develop and maintain a global reporting suite of key customer and campaign metrics.
Work with Corporate Marketing & Communications and regional partners to create learning roadmaps and share best practice fostering a culture of innovation and excellence as the organization transforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of experience in marketing and business functions.
5+ years of experience including business, vertical marketing or product marketing, including successful execution of vertical marketing programs
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications.
MBA or Master's degree with an emphasis in marketing.
10-12+ years of experience in marketing leadership or brand strategy, preferably in B2B, with a focus on tech and industrial manufacturing a huge plus
Strong understanding of Data Centers vertical landscape, regulations, and customer dynamics.
Proven track record of building and growing global brands, developing successful marketing programs, and delivering strong results working with agency partners, and ample experience partnering in an integrated marketing team.
Strong understanding of customer behavior, market trends, and digital marketing channels.
Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills to align cross-functional teams and globally.
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across countries, divisions, and cross-functional teams to influence business outcomes.
Ability to operate in ambiguous environments, with demonstrated capability in dealing with complexity and ambiguity.
Energetic, resourceful, and hands-on individual.
