About the role

Ensure the timely and efficient procurement of materials for production without incurring additional costs, minimize operational risks, and ensure effective inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr Buyer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Placing purchase orders on time

• Validating shortages and expediting

• Following up and resolving discrepant purchase orders (hold invoices)

• Covering materials for short, medium, and long-term needs

• Inventory control

• Keeping exception reports up to date (pull in/push out/cancel)

• Managing ECNs and NPI projects

• Managing Phase in-Phase out projects

• Developing cost-saving strategies

• Maintaining good communication with suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

• 4-6 years of experience in direct material purchasing

• Advanced English

• Intermediate/Advanced Office and Excel skills

• Experience with MRP

• Preferably experience with SAP
