About the role

The Manager, Accounting & Controllership is responsible for leading the accounting and controllership function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with statutory and US GAAP requirements, and maintaining a strong internal controls environment. This role acts as a key business partner, providing accounting support to field operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manager, Accounting & Controllership, you’ll be responsible for:

• Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and submit financial data (including HFM supplemental data) for Corporate Reporting and support CFIN initiatives.
• Review and approve revenue recognition calculations and associated entries for proper revenue recognition or deferrals.
• Review and approve monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Serve as the key contact for statutory filings and STAT to GAAP requirements.
• Provide balance sheet fluctuation analysis and maintain a strong internal controls environment.
• Create and maintain accounting standard work documentation.
• Provide accounting support to business partners in the field.
• Manage a small team, including remote personnel.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (public) or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HFM, BlackLine, and banking software.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and capitalization.
• Strong understanding of statutory and US GAAP requirements.
