About the Role:

LEAN Procurement professional responsible for Raw Material Planning, ordering, scheduling, forecasting for raw material and components of light commercial and commercial air-conditioning with good supplier management skills.

Role Responsibilities:

• Procurement of Raw Material, Parts and Components: Make material requirement planning backed-up through ERP & Excel working. Need hands on experience of procurement processes-forecasting, material planning, ordering with PO release, scheduling and tracking of material/parts required for air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Collaborate with the PPC, Production team, quality, Warehouse, Logistic & Finance for required components.
• Apply supply chain principles like Lean, Milk-run, VMI & QC Tools in day to day working.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, local laws, and international trade regulations.
• Assess risks related to supplier performance, market volatility, and geopolitical factors, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain procurement reports, purchase orders, supplier contracts, functional presentation and track KPI of SCM like Inventory, E & O, Ageing Supplier's performance, Supply Risk Assessment, and lead-times.
• Supplier Relation Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with both local and international suppliers. Ensure supplier compliance with company standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• IT Skill: ERP, MS Excel, MS Power Point

Role Purpose:

Purpose of a Procurement Manager is to arrange raw material, parts and consumables from approved suppliers for factory manufactured light commercial/commercial applied air-conditioning & refrigeration products, both locally and internationally at right price, at right time with right quantity and quality.

Minimum Requirements:

• B. Tech in Mech/Elect./Prod./AC & Ref or similar stream with 4~6 yrs previous experience in SCM
• Strong supplier management skills
• Understanding drawings
• Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP etc.)
• Basic knowledge of supply chain principles like Lean, Milk-run, VMI & QC Tools
• Comfortable with collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Power-point.
