Role Responsibilities:

·Preparation of commercial quotations including options and accessory selection correct for the application.

·Prepare project proposals and engineering submittals

·Technical review of commercial orders and sign-off

·Part setup and technical drawings on 2D and 3D design software (ex. Catia)

·Perform internal engineering duties setting up vendors and parts.

·Maintain an expert level understanding of commercial hydronic piping systems, product universe and marketplace.

·Other documentation preparation, ex. manuals and specifications.

·Interaction with and provide support to sales channels related to equipment selection, use, and installation as an expert on the equipment.

Role Purpose:

·Key member of engineering applications team including support cross functionally with other team projects and tasks.

·Liaison between engineering group and others including sales, purchasing, production etc.

This is a current vacancy for which Carrier is currently hiring.

Required Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s degree or 3-year diploma in engineering discipline

·3+ years of experience in the HVAC industry with the strong understanding in two or more of these heating technologies: Burners, Boilers, Commercial Water Heaters, and/or Heat Pumps.

·2+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

·Knowledge of database systems

·Knowledge of PLM software (Enovia)

·Knowledge of Enterprise management software (SAP)

Pay Range:

The expected base salary range for this role is between $89,500 and $139,500. The rate of pay may be impacted by factors such as the applicant’s geographic location, market data/range, skills, prior relevant experience, job-related knowledge, specific degrees and certifications, and/or other relevant considerations.​

This compensation includes components such as base salary, vacation pay, public holiday pay, potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence. Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care, vision, dental, disability, etc., as well as possible RRSP matching.​

Other Compensation:

This role may also provide the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation in the form of annual bonus, sales bonus, sales commission or local incentive.  If the role provides for an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation, it will be based on measurable performance factors which may include company performance, individual performance or other key performance indicators.
