Role Description:

Seasoned Software Engineering professional, working independently. Conducts moderately complex tests and debugs control and diagnostic systems. Undertakes multidisciplinary research, and works on system capabilities analysis to determine end user needs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Technical Development: Design and develop application modules using the OutSystems platform, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
• Feature Utilization: Leverage specific OutSystems features such as visual development, full-stack capabilities, and built-in security to deliver robust solutions.
• Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Continuous Learning: Maintain a continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in OutSystems and related technologies.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and performance of applications through thorough testing and debugging.

Role Purpose:

• An ideal candidate will have minimum of 5 years’ experience on OutSystems app development. The individual should understand and analyze business requirements, integrate application to various systems, internal or external (usually through APIs), and perform unit and integration testing.

Minimum Requirements:

• Highly skilled in programming using OutSystems 11.
• Experienced in integrating Outsystems app with enterprise SSO and using custom authentication methods.
• Able to follow development lifecycle process either waterfall or agile.
• Ready to learn new platform/functionality, with good initiative, team player.
• Good understanding of Timers and Service Center Console in OutSystems.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to do basic data modeling and enforce proper referential integrity constraints.
• Thorough understanding of developing Entity model and relations, Aggregates & Advance queries.
• Hands on experience in JavaScript and CSS customization.
• Understanding of SOAP and Restful Web Services (Consuming and Exposing via OutSystems).
• Understanding of using Database Extensions and Custom Extensions in OutSystems.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and JSON data.

Additional Skills:

• Exposure to Supply Chain domain is highly desired.
• Experience working with remote and globally distributed teams.
• Experience in using Visio and/or other documentation tools.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
• OutSystems developer certification highly desired. 
• Any other low code application certification desired.
