About this role
As a System Specialist Supervisor you will supervise Field Service Technicians, manage day-to-day priorities, and solve client issues received by the team. The System Specialist Supervisor ensures that the Field Engineering team successfully executes the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities
- Start-up, commissioning and re-commissioning customer systems that utilize pneumatic / electrical / electronic technology.
- Maintaining an accurate As-Built drawing package and make changes in Visio, Excel, Word, as required.
- Completing all required commissioning documentation and other job specific documentation.
- Control system startup, check out and turnover of various systems.
- Coordinating, prioritizing and resolving issues encountered by the team.
- Optimizing the usage of manpower, standard time, equipment and team energy.
- Escalating key issues that will impact the business.
- Managing team according to established programs and objectives.
- Contacting customers, collecting feedback, establishing and maintaining good customer relationships.
- Responding to customer complaints and carrying out customer satisfaction investigations to ensure establishment of appropriate improvement plans.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years’ experience leadership and supervisory experience with the ability to manage a team
- 2+ years’ experience of technical and troubleshooting skills in HVAC controls and automation systems
- 2+ years’ experience with parts and equipment inventory management
- 2+ years, experience using WebCtrl or related BAS Software Programs
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering, business, or related subject matter
- Knowledge and experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or related industry.
- Proficient in Automated Logic and Phoenix software, such as WebCtrl, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, LogicBuilder, or similar software.
- Previous leadership experience and ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
- Ability to multitask various large and diverse challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
