About this role


This position has profit & loss responsibility for an HVAC multi-million-dollar revenue responsibility for our Philadelphia Area, which includes offices in Plymouth Meeting, Harrisburg, and New Castle. It is responsible for growing the market share of the Carrier Commercial Services business in focus areas through daily management of the operations teams and driving new business development working in conjunction with the sales organization. Products and services include HVAC Repair Service, Maintenance Contracts, and modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, including a detailed understanding of the technical sales process and operations management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Operations team in the execution of sales commitments and work orders.
  • Partner with the sales organization to develop and execute a strategic plan to drive market growth in the assigned area based on revenue and EBIT plans for the area.
  • Accountable for technician productivity, order completion, connecting digital assets, customer retention and driving new process and technology improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain client relationships based on professional credibility and product knowledge.
  • Identify and participate in industry organizations, trade shows, and events to promote the company, products, and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and expectations.
  • Forecast, monitor, and document financial performance against the plan.
  • Maintain a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by on-time performance and delivery to customer commitments.
  • Competent understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Customer-centric mindset.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Leadership Experience
  • 2+ years of managing a P&L portfolio of $10 million+
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business management, Engineering, or other related field
  • HVAC industry experience
  • Leadership experience in a Service environment
  • Salesforce and SAP experience
  • Proactive and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral
  • Able to build strong relationships across functions
