Role Description:

Seasoned Software Engineering professional, working independently. Conducts moderately complex tests and debugs control and diagnostic systems. Undertakes multidisciplinary research and works on system capabilities analysis to determine end user needs.

Description

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager with 15+ years of experience to join our Cloud Team. The ideal candidate will excel in resource management, engineering metrics, and driving engineering excellence within a cloud environment. This role requires strong stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills, along with proficiency in Jira and exceptional presentation abilities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Resource Management:
• Oversee resource allocation for cloud projects and ensure optimal utilization.
• Coordinate with cloud engineering and operations teams to manage staffing and skill requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies for resource optimization and efficiency within the cloud domain.
• Define, track, and analyze engineering metrics specific to cloud projects to drive performance improvements.
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence through continuous process improvement and adoption of cloud best practices.
• Implement cloud standards and practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on cloud initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and foster strong working relationships with cloud partners and vendors.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and presentations, providing regular updates on project status and performance.
• Communication Skills:
• Ensure effective communication across all levels of the cloud organization.
• Craft clear, concise, and comprehensive reports and documentation tailored to cloud projects.
• Handle complex situations and conflicts with diplomacy and tact, particularly in a cloud environment.
• Plan, execute, and deliver cloud projects on time and within budget.
• Utilize project management methodologies to manage and monitor cloud project progress.
• Identify risks specific to cloud projects and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Presentation Skills:
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to various audiences, including senior management and stakeholders.
• Utilize data and insights to create informative and engaging presentations related to overall performance and strategy.
• Communicate technical cloud concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 15+ years of experience in program management or a similar role, with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Proven track record in resource management, engineering metrics, and engineering excellence within a software development environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Expertise in Jira and familiarity with other project management tools.
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• B.E/B.Tech/MCA/MBA qualification
