About this role:

Carrier Commercial Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Regional Projects Manager to oversee and manage all commercial construction modernization and Building Automation Systems (BAS) controls projects in the West region. This role requires a highly skilled leader to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects, while managing a team of professionals across multiple locations. The Regional Projects Leader will be responsible for coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project schedules in collaboration with the project team to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

  • Supervise and mentor a team consisting of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Controls Field Engineers, and Project Coordinators.

  • Oversee the Midwest region that includes Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Memphis, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri.

  • Ensure projects meet all milestones, timelines, budgets, and performance targets.

  • Utilize Carrier Project Management tools and systems to manage and track project progress.

  • Develop and implement best practices for project management, including standards, procedures, and tools.

  • Maintain and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue backlog forecasting, underbilling, revenue reconciliation, and assistance with accounts receivable issues.

  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams, functional groups, and external clients.

  • Assess project team staffing needs and recruit new team members as necessary.

  • Use job information systems to monitor job-specific data and support procurement/manufacturing requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with all Carrier policies and codes of conduct.

  • Perform other duties as required to drive project success and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.

  • Willing to travel up to 35% in the Midwest United States

Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.   

This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.   

Pay Range:

$118,000.00-$165,000.00
