About the role
The Sustaining Engineering Leader is responsible for driving and facilitating engineering changes for residential HVAC products manufactured at the site. This role plays a key part in improving product performance, implementing cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring the successful adoption of new technologies, directly impacting customer satisfaction and business competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Sustaining Engineering Leader, you’ll be responsible for:
•    Managing and coordinating resources for the implementation of engineering changes in existing products.
•    Defining and leading new projects focused on product cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
•    Making strategic decisions regarding product improvement opportunities, ensuring technical feasibility and quality standards.
•    Overseeing engineering change management processes related to new technologies or product updates.
•    Evaluating product deviations and leading corrective actions to ensure compliance with specifications.


Requirements
We are looking for people who are analytical, results-driven, proactive, strong decision-makers, and effective team leaders with a continuous improvement mindset. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
•    Minimum of 3 -5  years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or related areas.
•    Knowledge of project management and engineering change management processes.
•    Strong understanding of technical or operational practices in industrial environments.
•    Team leadership experience and ability to coach and develop others.
•    Conversational English skills.


Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
•    Experience in the HVAC industry or manufacturing of climate control systems.
•    Knowledge of cost reduction methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, VAVE).
•    Experience implementing new product technologies.
