Supplier Performance Specialist

The Supplier Performance Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing supplier relationships, ensuring that suppliers meet and exceed expectations in terms of delivery, and service. The role involves monitoring supplier performance through data analysis, reporting, and direct communication, as well as collaborating with internal teams to address issues and implement improvements.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, or similar software).
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsabilities:

  • Track and assess the performance of suppliers based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery
  • Communicate performance feedback to suppliers in a constructive manner
  • Act as the primary point of contact for performance-related issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to implement corrective actions and process improvement
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier performance
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Ensure that suppliers adhere to agreed-upon contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and terms of engagement
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and work with suppliers and internal teams to mitigate those risks
  • Develop and implement contingency plans for critical suppliers to minimize business disruption
