About the role
The Quality Engineer plays a key role in increasing customer satisfaction by ensuring product compliance with engineering specifications throughout the manufacturing process. This position focuses on defect prevention, strong process control, statistical quality tools, and standardized procedures while driving continuous improvement of quality performance indicators. Your work will directly impact product reliability, customer experience, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
• Evaluating compliance with product engineering specifications and initiating corrective actions when variation is detected.
• Designing, implementing, and assessing quality assurance procedures using SPC, sampling techniques, MES systems, and standardized quality processes.
• Leading and supporting problem solving activities for customer, process, or supplier issues using Six Sigma, A3, 8D, and Red X methodologies.
• Coordinating containment actions and corrective actions with engineering, manufacturing, and cross functional teams.
• Driving continuous improvement of key quality indicators including FPY, leakage, scrap, and rework.
• Training operational personnel on quality assurance and quality control concepts and tools.
• Participating in new product development and product/process changes, ensuring alignment with quality and engineering requirements.
• Supporting metal stamping, press processes, welding, leak detection, and measurement equipment control activities.
• Overseeing the metrology lab, implementation of quality controls, and corresponding metrics.

As a minimum, you must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automation & Controls, Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality function within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with Core Quality Tools: MSA, SPC, FMEA, and Control Plans.
• Proven experience applying structured problem solving methodologies (Six Sigma, A3, 8D, Red X).
• Experience as an internal auditor or quality lead within ISO 9001, ISO/IATF, or similar Quality Management Systems.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Experience supervising or leading personnel.
• Desirable experience in metal stamping and press processes.
• Availability to travel (must hold a valid U.S. visa and passport).
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
• Experience in HVAC, industrial refrigeration, automotive, or heavy industry manufacturing.
• Experience implementing quality controls in welding, leak detection, and metrology environments.
