About the role

A Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of equipment and machinery used in manufacturing processes. This role includes performing regular inspections, diagnosing and repairing faults, and conducting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Additionally, the engineer collaborates with other teams to solve problems, coordinate projects, and improve machinery performance. They also design and implement equipment improvements, supervise maintenance personnel, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr Eng, Mfg Engrg, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Support to Production and Vertical Condenser Lines, attend TIR 1, 2, and 3 Line Details. - Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.
  • Participating in and implementing continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, scrap, budgets and process defects.
  • Collaborating with EH&S to identify and implement safe procedures and improve ergonomics in the manufacturing process.
  • Driving process development and improvements with a strong focus on safety.
  • Coordinating activities to increase the productivity of testing stations. Floor and Production Support.
  • Developing strategies to reduce downtime during Run Tests. Quick Response Time (stoppage affects).
  • Coordinating the installation of equipment and production line modifications for the proper implementation of the A2L Project (Run Test & Charging stations).
  • Analyzing productivity metrics and developing strategic plans to achieve goals.
  • Managing the inventory of spare parts and consumables for Run Test and charging stations.
  • Leading the implementation of approved projects.
  • Ensuring manufacturing systems are operational and efficient by supporting the Test Equipment.
  • Promoting root cause analysis (RRCA) for major plant issues using Carrier Excellence tools.
  • Managing technical staff and work plans.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are Sr Mfg Eng. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing or Maintenance Engineer.
  • Bachelor´s Degree in IMA, IME, Industrial Engineering or related.
  • Electric, Mechanic, Hydraulic & Pneumatic skills and knowledge.
  • Robots (Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa).
  • Microsoft Office (Excel Avanced).
  • PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
  • Advanced English.
