Today, we continue to lead because we have a world‑class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.
About the role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will build both short‑ and long‑term aftermarket strategies to support the Aftermarket RCD business. You’ll establish a cross‑functional network and foster collaboration with suppliers, the broader supply chain organization, engineering, quality, and product management across the aftermarket network—driving quality, competitive cost, and on‑time delivery that directly enhances the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for aftermarket parts, aligned with the organization’s procurement and business objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, potential risks, and emerging trends within the aftermarket HVAC industry.
Supplier Management: Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, localization, and relationship activities. Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers to ensure the highest quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery of parts, materials, components, and products.
Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers. Manage pricing with regional vendors to protect the organization’s interests while promoting mutually beneficial partnerships in a cross‑functional sourcing environment.
Cost Optimization: Implement cost‑reduction initiatives and continuously monitor market dynamics to capitalize on cost‑saving opportunities within the aftermarket HVAC parts category without compromising quality.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including Planning, WHQ Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Development, and Operations—to understand their requirements and ensure alignment between procurement and business objectives.
Supplier Performance Management: Define and track supplier KPIs, evaluate performance regularly, and collaborate to address any performance issues.
Team Leadership: Build and lead engagement with aftermarket regional and global vendors (including North America datacenter needs) within a high‑performing, cross‑functional procurement team. Provide guidance, strategy, and influence across stakeholders.
