About the role
As an Associate Test and Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, quality, and performance of our products. This position focuses on performing mechanical, electrical, gas, transportation, and performance evaluations for air conditioning, refrigeration, and combustion system products, based on recognized certification standards. You will directly support Engineering and Design teams while contributing to continuous improvement and customer safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • As an Associate Test and Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Execute engineering and laboratory tests according to established procedures, standards, and certification requirements (UL, ETL, ANSI, ISTA, AHRI).

  • Prepare, configure, and operate laboratory equipment, instruments, prototypes, and test samples.

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, gas, pressure, vibration, impact, drop, and performance tests.

  • Validate packaging and transportation changes to ensure product integrity is not affected.

  • Analyze, document, and prepare test reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with safety and quality criteria.

  • Support failure analysis and root cause investigations during testing activities.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, and Laboratory teams to support projects and product validation.

  • Promote 5S culture, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with EH&S requirements.

  • Develop visual aids, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and procedures for special laboratory activities.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within laboratory and testing processes.

Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are analytical, results‑oriented, proactive, and strong team players. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
As a minimum, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical‑Administrative Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • 0–3 years of experience in laboratory testing, engineering tests, or engineering projects.

  • Basic knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, tools, and soldering.

  • Basic knowledge of electricity and electronics.

  • Experience with laboratory safety procedures and internal standards.

  • Intermediate level of English.

  • Although not required, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience or exposure to certification standards such as UL, ETL, ANSI, ISTA, AHRI.

  • Experience with metrology laboratories, calibrations, and contamination testing.

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
