About the role

As an Accounting Specialist, you will support accurate, timely financial reporting for Automated Logic Contracting Services (ALCS), a Carrier subsidiary delivering best-in-class building automation and control systems. This role provides hands-on exposure to a service and contracting business, including month-end close, high-quality reconciliations, and percentage-of-completion accounting, while offering opportunities to participate in continuous improvement and finance and digital system projects within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accounting Specialist you’ll be responsible for:
• Performing accounting activities for ALCS within the Carrier organization
• Supporting month-end close and reporting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Completing timely, high-quality account reconciliations in compliance with Carrier standards
• Providing accounting support to finance and field operations teams
• Maintaining accounting standard work documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge continuity

Requirements

We are looking for people who are detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong foundation in accounting and a desire to grow within a collaborative, operationally focused environment. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
• 3+ years of experience in financial accounting
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and internal control procedures
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to deliver accurate, timely work in a fast-paced environment

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
• Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting
• Corporate accounting experience in a large multinational organization
• Advanced English proficiency
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
