About this role

This Technical Product Manager role will be responsible for helping Carrier build digital solutions to grow and scale Carrier’s capabilities for Commerce, MarTech and Software as a Service (SaaS).  The role, reporting directly to the Associate Director, SaaS, GTM and Commerce, will work across various groups including Finance, Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to align on a shared vision and help drive execution forward. The ideal candidate would have subject matter expertise in eCommerce solutions, digital marketing tools and subscription management experiences. The candidate for this role will participate in the unique opportunity to help transition a legacy Industrial & Manufacturing global business to a modern Platform & Ecosystem global enterprise. This role will be responsible for advising and guiding stakeholders on their transformation journey to becoming a top 200 software company as well as the world’s leading HVAC and Connected Cold Chain provider in the world

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop technology solutions that empower Commerce, Marketing and SaaS teams to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns using Shopify, Salesforce, Zuora, and other core digital commerce tools.  
  • Manage multiple delivery PODs across the globe while leveraging Scrum and SAFe best practices. 
  • Oversee the build out of Carrier’s core Content Management Systems to create and manage digital content across multiple channels and platforms. 
  • Develop a global strategy and rollout out plan for enterprise DAM solutions that enable teams to manage and organize digital assets, such as images and videos, for use in marketing campaigns. 
  • Develop a global strategy and rollout plan for enterprise PIM solutions that enable teams to manage their product catalog and participate in multi-channel selling activities at scale. 
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify opportunities for revenue growth and customer engagement. 
  • Work closely with the Digital leadership team to align eCommerce, MarTech, and SaaS selling strategies with Carrier’s global revenue and customer acquisition goals. 
  • Develop and present business cases that articulate the strategy, total cost of ownership (TCO) and return-on-investment, to acquire and incorporate cross-functional feedback and ultimately achieve executive approval. 
  • Work with Carrier leadership teams to create a compelling vision across people, process, and technology to drive departmental success with quarterly roadmaps / critical milestones to lead transformation through continuous improvement, and implementation of scalable process & technology. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform Carrier’s global marketing and commerce strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B software and IT services, including product management, customer success, and Cloud/SaaS business models  
  • 5+ of experience in business process design for end-to-end optimization of go-to-market and/or back-office standardization for SaaS selling. 
  • 5+ years of experience in building Commerce solutions at scale for midsize and/or enterprise companies. 
  • 3+ years of experience building solutions leveraging cloud-based solutions such as Shopify, Zuora, Salesforce.
  • Traveling up to 15% nationally and internationally is required 

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Played a key role in software business model transformation from perpetual licenses to recurring revenue and SaaS. 
  • The ability to simplify the complex, quickly define core problem and frame the solution approach 
  • Success collaborating across teams and regions to achieve standardization and drive enablement acro the enterprise (pull vs. push strategies to help reps more effectively sell).

  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing software segments 
  • Deep understanding of the interplay between pricing strategy, business models, channel management strategies, and technology platforms. 
  • Proven ability to lead virtual teams, manage projects and deliver results in a diverse stakeholder environment 
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to rally team members around a common vision. Strong deck-writing and upward-influencing skills. 
  • Executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders to drive change 
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills. 
  • Business owner mentality, willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary. 
  • Team player with a positive, collaborative work ethic.

Pay Range:

$104,250 - $146,000 Annually
