About This Role

Senior professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in Field Service, who provides technical guidance to junior team members. Performs complex diagnostic procedures. Communicates technical information to technical/non-technical people that may include senior management. Contacts and meets customers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Service technicians and staff in promoting a safe work environment and culture

  • Lead execution of service repairs and preventative maintenance to meet customer commitments

  • Promote market growth based on revenue and EBIT plans

  • Accountable for technician productivity, order completion, connecting digital assets, customer retention and driving new process and technology improvement initiatives

  • Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, which may include equipment servicing and equipment upgrades.

  • Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and recommends actions to company or customer representatives. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.

  • Acts as the expert in product knowledge/subject matter expert and performs diagnostic procedures.

  • Interprets test information to resolve design/system-related problems and ensure continuous improvement.

  • Communicates technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders that may include senior management and meets customers daily or as required to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided or outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ service management Experience in the Commercial HVAC Industry

  • 2+ years’ experience managing team of technicians

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must have valid DL.

Preferred Experience:

  • PMP Certification (preferred)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Management

  • Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of an integrated project team.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills and prioritize both daily issues and long-term projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to act strategically and tactically to support successful project completion.

  • Strong customer focus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams.

  • Strong written and verbal skills.

  • Strong computer skills, including skill in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new software.

  • Strong organizational, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Expresses ideas effectively to establish oneself as a credible and impactful leader.

  • Adjusts personally to high pressure, rapidly changing business conditions and uncertain business environments.

  • Drives obligations to closure with precision to benefit the organization and every constituent.

  • Applied chiller experience including low and medium pressure centrifugal and screw compression chiller service, repair and maintenance


Travel:
Up to 25% of time traveling
