Scope of Position:

As an Associate Project Executive, for Automated Logic Corporation, you will be responsible for operational excellence across the North Central Region. This position will expand relationships with contractors and customers, ensuring share of wallet with existing customer base. In addition, you will be leading projects, and growing profits through a focus driving revenue profitably and ensuring quality execution, all while collecting cash. The Associate Project Executive will also have responsibility with developing and coaching new project managers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Plan, organize, and direct execution teams from an area level to ensure portfolio revenue and margin plans are achieved.
  • Present bi-weekly project update to Area General Manager regarding high risk projects
  • Participate in submittal internal review process when requested.
  • Assist in recognizing current supply chain risks from all commodity suppliers with assistance from parts coordinator and panel fabricators.
  • Work with Area Engineering Manager to ensure accurate and timely submission of engineering documents on assigned high risk portfolio.
  • Communicate project issues to Area General Manager and respective operations
  • Assist in creation of root cause analyses paperwork when required.
  • Assist in management of CORA usage across the portfolio.
  • Assist in review of letters and documentation of project issues as assigned.
  • Assist in review of schedule of values for high risk portfolio
  • Assist in review of billings, collections, applying cash, and assist in identifying and addressing rejected invoices.
  • Ensure transition of execution of all service delivery plans and owner direct installation work.
  • Assist operations managers with establishing revenue and manpower forecasts to be presented to management on a quarterly basis.
  • Support customers in all aspects of customer relationship.
  • Ensure all ALC Organizational safety and ethics standards are met.
  • Maintain project backlog and ensure profitable execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and/or other Engineering field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in the HVAC controls industry leading projects
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25% of average workweek, including air travel, overnight hotel stays, and unexpected travel when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • Master’s Business Administration
  • 5+ years people leadership experience
  • 15+ years of Project Management experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Profit-driven – seeks ways to cut costs and improve efficiency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to effectively interface with customers, handle customer issues, manage meetings, etc.
