About This Role:

Carrier is looking for a finance professional with a proven track record of excellence to join the Corporate FP&A team. The role will be a key team member ensuring best in class Financial Planning & Analysis standards and processes to provide financial analysis, insight, research, and forecasts. Highly visible role in the World Headquarters that will support briefings with senior executive leaders using detailed analysis and reporting metrics on economic, business, and financial developments. This position requires a deep understanding of financial processes and systems, clear communication skills and capable of aligning finance strategies with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executes strategies for financial analysis, insight, research, and forecasts to support financial goals and strategic decisions of the organization

  • Partners with the Finance Transformation office to drive global FP&A transformation

  • Develops financial reporting, analysis and formulation of recommendations for short, mid and long-range planning and forecasting

  • Supports briefings with senior executive leaders using detailed analysis and reporting metrics on economic, business and financial developments

  • Actions global consolidation and analysis of financial forecasts, business plans and internal and external financial reporting. Monitors budget and policy recommendations to support operational results

  • Provides guidance to management to reduce inefficiencies, control investments and expand margins

  • Provides technical subject matter expertise to senior leaders in multiple financial disciplines

  • Guides organization to perform financial practices in compliance with regulatory requirements, laws and standards related to all financial planning areas of responsibility

  • Leads and supports complex projects by supervising financial, economic, cost, forecasting, and operations modeling and analysis

  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to leverage technology in financial operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

  • 10+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in setting up processes in a dynamic environment via simplification and automation

  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite and Financial Management systems (HFM)

  • Attention to accuracy and execution is a must with demonstrated strong analytical, process mindset, problem solving, and insight acumen

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, function, segments, and business units

  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment

  • Excellent time management and project management skills

  • Expertise in aligning finance functions with broader business goals, ensuring that transformation initiatives drive tangible improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and strategic decision-making

  • Deep knowledge across multiple facets of the Finance function e.g. FP&A, Controllership, Shared Services, etc.

  • Strong collaboration, conflict resolution, and communication skills, especially in complex organizational settings
