This position is for a Staff Field Technician in Aftermarket and Service who is under moderate supervision. Performs moderately complex on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation. Responsible for analyzing test readings, computer printouts, and trouble reports to determine equipment repair needs. Assists in orienting, training, and assigning work of technical/business support employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works under moderate supervision to perform on-site field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing of equipment to meet customer requirements.
  • Installs, tests, services and repairs moderately complex equipment to conform with company operating specifications and customer requirements.
  • Performs moderately complex on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
  • Inspects equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning and provides moderately complex repair services as needed.
  • Analyzes test readings, computer printouts, and trouble reports to determine equipment repair needs.
  • Monitors security stock level, timely ordering and delivery of inventory to work sites.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Possess and maintain valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
  • Ability to travel in excess of 50% of typical workweek, including air travel, overnight hotel stays, and unexpected travel as well as participate in rotating on call schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Electronics, or IT.
  • Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines.
  • Field experience and a complete understanding of the installation and operation of Automated Logic Controls and knowledge and understanding of third party control systems and integrations.
  • Experience with Automated Logic and Phoenix software to include: WebCtrl, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, LogicBuilder, InterOp 3.02, Alert, Draw, EDB, Eikon, Supervision, and Accel Works.
  • Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
